Self-Invested Pension Plan 2018-10-05T08:19:21+00:00

Self-Invested Pension Plan

Self-Invested Pensions Plans (SIPPs) enable you to save towards your pension in a tax efficient manner, with the added benefit of flexibility.

Investment is allowed in a number of asset classes, and SIPPs give a greater flexibility of options available than most pension plans. This enables you to spread the risk, however do tend to be associated with higher costs than a traditional pension. It is essential that your SIPP is managed carefully and regularly in order to maximise the benefits on offer, so would not be suitable for inexperienced investors.

The investment growth within the fund is currently free from all UK Personal Income and Capital Gains Taxes.

The value of an investment with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax reliefs depends on individual circumstances.
